The route passes by the S. Simão and the fontanário Church, go along the gravel paving way to a path lined by low and winding walls. After crossing the Mount Cimeiro, which is uninhabited and in ruins, a steep trail leads up to Penouco, the highest point of the Serra de São Miguel, between cork oaks, pines and eucalyptus trees, with a panoramic view of the region. The descent between cork oaks heads towards Vinagra, where there is water in the fountains and stone houses. It continues between vegetable gardens or olive groves, until once again the cork oaks appear, up to the old oil press.
