This route is rugged with peaks and ridges, escarpments and gorges leaning over the peneplain. We find areas where cork oaks, oak, pines and chestnut trees are mixed for the production of fruit or wood, which are very common throughout the mountain range. The area of Quinta da Relva is an interesting example of integration of native species and exotic ornamentals, from natural grassland and walls of trees for protection from the winds. You arrive at Quinta da Lameira, where various brickwork, marbles and tile fountains and tanks form the 18th century building.
