Start at the Castle and head towards the Dr. Santiago garden. Visit the Church of St. John the Baptist and admire the Fountain of the Three Spouts. Visit the old garden and go down to the Bica do Leão, embedded in Santa Catarina’s defensive bastion. Continue to Bica do Moscão, go down, go towards the Ribeira de Brenhas stream. Follow the country road. At the intersection, go straight on until Atalaia de Porto Mourão, next to the Ardila River, go back to the intersection and turn right. Stroll through the Alto da Forca, turn right through the olive grove, until near Horta da Vargem. When you reach the main road, turn left towards Moura, cross the Ribeira de Brenhas stream. Follow the road to Av. do Carmo, to Praça Sacadura Cabral and return to the starting point.
