Leave Largo do Castelo, pass in front of the Clock Tower and Pelourinho. Pass by St. Peter's Church (Igreja de S. Pedro) towards the cemetery. Follow and take the dirt path next to Professor's Vegetable Garden (Horta do Professor). Gentle climb. Pass the cattle gate, with a metal grate on the ground, to the paths intersection on the mount. Follow the area of cork oaks, on the dirt road. Once on the mount, pass the cattle gate. Between Monte da Coutada and the large cork oak re-enter the forest where you can see Lucefécit Reservoir. Pass by on the dam, walk on the water wall, until you reach the EN. Turn left, see the old bridge and go back. Pass the power station and the Ribeira da Cruz bridge. Go left until you turn right to the Nossa Senhora da Boa Nova Sanctuary Temple Fortress. Ask for the key in the house in front and visit it. Pass the Cruzeiros until Terena.
