The Vouga Greenway, between Albergaria-a-Velha and Viseu is one of the most beautiful greenways in the heart of Portugal. Being able to be done in both directions, in a total of 76.8 km of linear and accessible extension, it invites you to walk or cycle through the regions of Ria de Aveiro and Viseu Dão Lafões.

The greenway originates from the Vouga valley railway line, which gives it a unique beauty, since it is still possible to observe some railway heritage along the line.

This route is dominated by a green landscape, full of pine forests, oak groves and native forests, interspersed with rural and residential landscapes, where it is possible to see some of the most emblematic landscapes of the region.
