This route runs along the Barranco da Caleira valley and the Lourenço valley with the Ribeira de Arronches stream. We find numerous farms that were dedicated to livelihood and pastoral agriculture, with terraces due to its slope. Many of these farms and lands are abandoned. But in the Ribeira de Arronches valley, we still have some agricultural activity, with the cultivation of cereal, chestnut groves, olive groves and goat or sheep farming. The landscape is torn by quartzite outcrops. In the valley we cross an area of leafy riverside gallery.
