The route starts at the Velada Hydroelectric Plant. We descend with the Ribeira de Nisa stream, pass a watermill, cross the dam pontoon to the mouth of the Tagus. On the way you can see the terraced olive trees, once an important source of income. The most demanding point of the route is the ascent to the privileged viewpoint on the Ribeira de Nisa and the Tagus. We see the Beira Baixa line demarcating the landscape, at a privileged bird watching point. Now on to the descent to the Ribeira de Nisa stream, with waters that invite us to take a break to fish or have a snack.
