This almost flat route and its proximity to the water makes it easy and fresh. We cross the Roman Bridge on the Ribeira Grande stream. The mount is dense and consists of large holm oaks. Following on the bank of the Ribeira do Cubo, we find the Cubo's Fountain, the Cubo Bridge and the ruins of the Cubo Mill. Then, we cross the Ribeira do Freixo stream, its riverside galleries are leafy and dense. We drive to the Old Bridge and here, we start the return along the banks of the Ribeira Grande stream, we cross a long section of farmland and olive groves.
