In Seda, next to St. John’s Chapel (Capela de São João), we walk down a paving way until we are on the banks of the Ribeira de Seda, surrounded by magnificent riverine forest. Ahead, we flock to the closed road that places us next to the magnificent Roman Bridge of Vila Formosa. We go back to the river bank, behold the hydraulic mill, and soon we cross through an extensive set of tree roots. We will pass by the shale Bridge of the Mendes (Ponte dos Mendes), on the Ribeira de Alfeijós stream, whose current feature dates back to medieval times. We move on to the small cultivated lands that denounce the arrival at Chança.
