Leaving the Mezio forest area, the route follows along tracks towards Soajo passing, on the way, through small hamlets. This is an easy stage and is recommended for families with children, most of the way following granite paved farm tracks, sometimes bordered by drystone walls. Along the way it is possible to enjoy the farmed fields spread around various parts of Soajo, passing Lapa stream and its beautiful bridge as well as some deciduous woodlands. The walk finishes in the friendly village of Soajo, well known for its famous group of granaries. There is also an opportunity to visit the Largo do Eiró, where the Pelourinho de Soajo stands and enjoy the typical architecture and streets that are still preserved in this part of the old medieval centre. There is no shortage of rural tourism accommodation and restaurants serving typical local cuisine in Soajo, all providing an opportunity for a pleasant stay.
