On the Monção route, besides the Núcleo Museológico Torre de Menagem (Torre de Managem Museum Cluster) in Lapela, a national monument, you will be amazed by the diverse panoramas of the river and its traditions, such as the traditional boats and pesqueiras (fisheries), small structures built from ancient stones.

Upon arrival at the international bridge that connects the border towns Monção and Salvaterra, we catch glimpses, along the serene Minho River, of the loading pier for the old ferry and the old customs posts, one of them converted into the Centre for Environmental Education.
