Leaving Ouguela we descend between traditional olive groves, to the banks of the Ribeira de Abrilongo stream, which we cross from tree trunk to tree trunk. We continue along the stream with its riparian forest for company. We will discover the ruins of ancient kilns that turned calcareous stones into lime. Next, we line up with the border line, through the olive trees. We cross the Ribeira de Abrilongo stream and reach the Interpretation of Nature, Honey and Biodiversity Centre. We leave this Centre and head to Degolados, at the end of the route.
