The Lagoa route has many interesting places. Starting at the city centre, ride towards southeast and the coast. Try and visit the famous Algar de Benagil sinkhole. The terrain is up-and-down due to the cliffs. Though short, these sections are steep, so you need to be a capable rider. Continuing west along the coast, you will pass through the towns of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo. Stop to explore and admire their silhouettes against the seashore background. Heading north, you will come to Estômbar and the Parque das Fontes. A natural spot for diving, picnic or simply enjoy moments of convivial relaxation.
