This stage covers about 16.5 kilometres between Cabril and Sirvozelo, passing through several other villages that reveal the richness of the mountains and culture of the local Barroso communities. This is a particularly long stage, but it is possible to spread doing it over more than one day.
Curving around the slopes of S. Lourenço the route affords enjoyable views of the Cabril river valley and the rocky outline of the Gerês mountain range, leading on to the charming hamlet of Chelo, the Fojo do Lobo de Xertelo, the village of Azevedo visible to the valley of the Cávado, passing over Corga de Trás da Meda, Cavadas brook and the famous Cela Cavalos waterfall, then climbing up to the Chapel of Santa Luzia near Cela and, finally, Sirvozelo itself where this long stage ends.
