The route between Germil and Brufe extends for about four and a half kilometres, following old trails and paths within the midst of the Serra Amarela. It is a short route, ideal for families with children. In addition to the landscape and natural features of interest, the route reveals an appreciable cultural and ethnographic heritage by passing through the four mountain villages of Germil, Cutelo, Cortinhas and Brufe.

Between Germil and Cutelo the route follows essentially paths and tracks, passing through oak woods, areas of scrub, gulleys and streams. From Cutelo, the route uses rural paths which serve as access to farm fields and provide a connection to neighbouring villages. In Brufe, enjoy the scenery over the valley of the Rio Homem as well as the warm atmosphere of this picturesque mountain village.
