From Jardim do Miradouro to Praça da Liberdade, climb up to the cemetery on the border line. Pass by several border landmarks and go down to the old border road and the Portuguese border post and follow the cobblestones. Pass the 983 border marker, enter Spain and cross the road bridge. Take the EN up to Fonte da Lancheira, at the border post. Climb to the top of Serra Colorada and the Ribeira de Murtega stream. Pass the Ponte da Pipa to the mouth of the ribeira do Cadaval stream and see the Mill. Go towards the Miller's house, on the asphalt road to the Minacos Mine. Follow the Cerro do Calvário, pass by Fonte das Bicas. Using the stone path, cross the Travessa da Preguiçosa to the centre.
