Exit the Amieira Waterway pier, go on the wooden walkway to the village. Pass the Nora Park, Chafariz Street, S. Romão Chapel and Largo 1º de Maio. Go towards the Bullring, take the Amieira Marina road along the country road that goes along the bank of the lake toward the Horta do Balanco and Zambujeiro, turn off and visit the Antas da Torrejona, next to the bank. Go back to the path and up the hill. You will find a cattle gate, open the gate, go through and close it. Follow the reservoir without leaving the main path, cross the bridge over the Ribeira de Codis stream to the town of Alqueva. Finish next to the S. Lourenço Parish Church.
