A feature of the start of this route are the amazing landscapes formed by the meanders of the Zêzere. We enter the land of roast goat, the culinary star of the show in the district of Oleiros. Along the way you may be lucky enough to spot a heron. Don't hurry and take your time to contemplate and enjoy the landscape. You will also pass the Filipina bridge, the Sra. da Confiança lookout point and the Village of Xisto de Álvaro. Take the chapel route to discover the region's chapels that hold impressive wealth. The century-old olive groves (olea europaea), the Roman bridge and the ruined watermills in the Alvélos stream valley.
